Your Role as a Zenika Consultant:

As a Consultant, you will join a high-stakes environment where data integrity and system resilience are the top priorities. This is a role for someone who is detail-oriented and enjoys "under-the-hood" engineering - optimizing performance and ensuring data flows perfectly through complex systems

Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Database Engineering: Work hands-on with complex SQL stored procedures and functions. You’ll be responsible for tuning queries and ensuring the database operates as a high-efficiency processing engine.

• ETL Development: Build and refine sophisticated data flows using Informatica, ensuring seamless integration across enterprise-scale platforms.

• Adaptive Problem Solving: Collaborate with users to understand their requirements and translate them into technical reality. You’ll be valued for your ability to think on your feet and adapt to changing needs.

• Smart Automation: Utilize Python as a versatile tool for scripting and enhancing operational workflows.

• Reliability & Care: Maintain high standards of accuracy and performance, ensuring that "business as usual" is anything but ordinary

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred)

• 4-7 years experience in Data Engineering, with a strong foundation in RDBMS and data transformation.

• You have a deep understanding of SQL internals. You know your way around joins, indexes, and stored procedures, and you enjoy the challenge of performance tuning.

• ETL Knowledge: Solid experience building and managing pipelines

• Sharp Analytical Skills: You are a fast learner who can understand complex requirements quickly and deliver precise results.

• Consultative Approach: Good communication skills and a "user-first" mentality
